Recent Projects:

·        I am running, writing and revising research computer programs that find and uniquely identify 7-space snakes (special, maximal length, closed loops) in 7-space hypercubes.  I hope to eventually finish cataloging all unique 7-space snakes.  The current, unminimized dataset contains over 250,000 snakes collected over a 30 year period.

·        I am the webmaster for the Knox County, TN Disability Resource Center (DRC) http://drctn.org/  and am on its board of directors.  DRC is a 501(c)3  Center for Independent Living. (CIL) The web site meets W3C Accessibility guidelines and the Government’s 508 accessibility standards.

·        I developed and maintain the web site http://HowToAdapt.com/ which illustrates some of the ways that people with disabilities overcome challenges they face.

·        I scanned and reformatted the 250 page book: Educating Families of the Head Injured by Dana S. DeBoskey, Jeffrey S. Hecht, and Connie J. Calub.

·        I am the webmaster for http://www.EskimoEscapades.com/ and am on the Eskimo Escapades Foundation board of directors.  EEF is a 501(c)3 charitable organization.

·        I created several presentations and lesson plans about N-cubes for high school mathematics teachers at the online Drexel Math Forum. (Power Point) http://mathforum.org/library/view/64972.html .

·        I worked at Shoulders Corporation http://ShouldersCorp.com/  as a Software Engineer 10/2000 through 10/2001 modifying ASP to JSP for a large commercial firm.

·        At Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) http://ornl.gov/  (1974 – 2000) I developed a CGI C/Perl web application and associated UNIX perl scripts that scan web files and notify users of various types of problems in those files. The program provides links to the web files in question.

·        I created an interactive graphics web application "Combined Heating and Power payback calculator" using C, PERL and GD graphics using a .PNG format at ORNL.

·        I created CGI programs using C, ProC and html on a UNIX platform for the Performance Assessment and Development System (PADS) at ORNL.

·        I served as ORNL Database Administrator for the enterprise-critical Waste Tracking System (WTS) RDB database on an OpenVMS VAX/Alpha cluster. The job included support for C application programs, WTS DCL batch jobs, user support and reports using SQL.
